David Eugene Jeffcoat, 63, passed away October 12, 2011 in Kellogg, Idaho. David was born September 10, 1948 in Cleveland, Mississippi.; he was the son of Othello and Marie (Crumn) Jeffcoat.
As a child, David moved with his family to Los Angles California and later moved to Idaho’s Silver Valley in the late 1970’s. David had worked in the maintenance department for the Kellogg School District.
David was everyone’s friend and many people’s savior. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren. David always had a project he was working on and took great pride in helping others.
David married Laurie Caldwell on October 30th, 1984 at the Christian Life Center in Kellogg, Idaho.
He is survived by his wife Laurie of the family home in Elizabeth Park; 5 children David and his wife Marsha Jeffcoat Jr. of Yankton, South Dakota, Shannon Spoor of Spokane Valley, Washington, Nathan and his wife Jessica Jeffcoat of New Mexico, Derrick Jeffcoat of Kellogg, Idaho, and Cari Jeffcoat of Kellogg, Idaho; 4 grandchildren Faith, Olivia, Nicholas, and Ashley. David was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation was held and a Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Silver Valley Veterans Memorial Hall (formerly the Steelworkers Hall) of Kellogg, Idaho; everyone is welcome.
