Diane Irene Berg, 59, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away August 21, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Medical Center of Spokane, Washington. She was born April 4, 1952 at Wallace, Idaho; Diane was the daughter of Earl and Elaine (Martindale) Jacobsen.
Diane has lived in the Silver Valley all of her life. She attended and graduated from the Wallace High School of Wallace, Idaho in 1971. Diane then attended and graduated from Millie’s Beauty Academy of Kellogg, Idaho.
Diane was a hairdresser and she had worked at local beauty salons. She had also worked at Berg’s Jewelry Store of Kellogg. And lastly, Diane had worked at the Silver Wood Good Samaritan of Silverton, in the kitchen for thirteen years.
Diane loved and enjoyed her family, gardening, crocheting, knitting and camping.
Diane is survived by two children Jeremy Berg of Post Falls, Idaho, Melissa and her husband Neil Travis of Osburn, Idaho; four grandchildren Tyler, Brady, Austin and Nathan; one brother Jim and his wife Nita Jacobsen of Lake Havasu, Arizona; one sister Cindy and her husband Tim Goldade of Woodland Park-Wallace, Idaho; she is also survived by four nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation was held and private family services will be held.
