Lewis William Haseltine, 73, of Mullan, Idaho passed away September 18, 2011. Lewis was born January 31, 1938 in La Habra, California. Lewis was the son of Wayne and Thelma Haseltine.
Lewis attended and graduated from High School in Arkansas. After High School Lewis entered the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. After his discharge Lewis moved back to California. There he worked as an air conditioning technician for Aerospace engineering.
He moved and lived in various places throughout the United States before moving to Idaho’s Silver Valley in the late 1990’s, settling in Mullan, Idaho.
Lewis loved the outdoors including cross country skiing, hiking. He also enjoyed photography.
Lewis is survived by one daughter Debbie and her husband Mario Diaz of La Puente, California; one son Louie and his wife Olivia Haseltine of Buena Park, California; 4 grandchildren Mandy Haseltine of Texas, Robert Haseltine of California, Lorielle Bassett of California, and Cynthia Bassett of California; one great-grandchild Zoey Haseltine; one sister Mary Hester of California; and one brother lee Haseltine of California. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Robert Haseltine.
Cremation was held and upon his request no services will be held.
Shoshone Funeral Service and Crematory is entrusted with making arrangements.
