Mary Frances Vipperman, 71, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away November 8, 2011 at her home in Wallace. She was born December 24, 1939 at Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Mary was the daughter of John E. and Glyndene (Stroud) Duffy.
Mary moved to the Silver Valley with her family, as a child. She attended and graduated from the Wallace High School of Wallace, Idaho in 1958.
Mary had worked for Ramsier’s Pharmacy of Wallace, Gene’s Radio shop of Wallace, she had also worked for area banks as a teller, Mary had served as a bartender in Wallace and lastly had served as a receptionist at the Northern Pacific Depot Railroad museum of Wallace.
Mary was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Wallace, Idaho. She loved and enjoyed embroidering and sewing for people.
Mary is survived by two children and their spouses Della and Glen Beachel of Elko, Nevada and John and Jauntae Vipperman of Cody, Wyoming; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters Margaret and her husband Thomas Reynolds of Osburn, Idaho, Janet and her husband Charles Watkins of Elk, Washington and Megan and her husband Jim Benson of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; one brother John Duffy of Nampa, Idaho; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation was held and a Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Wallace, Idaho with Father Tom Loucks serving as celebrant. Inurnment will be held at the St. Thomas Cemetery of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho at a later date.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Shoshone Food Bank, 311 South Main Street Kellogg, Idaho 83837 or to the Shoshone Humane Society, P.O. Box 1005, Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
