Max E. Talley, 66, of Cataldo, Idaho passed away January 7th, 2012 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Max was born August 16, 1945 in Web City, Missouri. Max was the son of Harold and Ruth (Sargent) Talley.
As a child Max moved to the Silver Valley with his family, where he remained throughout his life. Max worked for the Bunker Hill Zinc Plant, and later driving truck for Brown Logging .
Max was a member of the High Mountain A.T.V. Association Inc. He loved to ride his ATV, and to go boating on the chain lakes.
Max married Darlene McClelland September 21st, 1963 in Smelterville, Idaho. They were married 36 years when Darlene passed away in 1999.
Max is survived by his mother Ruth Bohannon of Pine Creek, Idaho; 4 children Kevin Talley of Germany, Steven Talley of Walla Walla, Washington, Juanita Singh of Colfax, Washington, and Dell Talley of Oregon; 3 grandsons Anthony Talley of Colfax, Washington, Jeffery Nelson of Washington, and Jonny Molyneaux of Colfax, Washington; 2 great-grandchildren Michael james Talley of Colfax, Washington and Braxton Anthony Talley of Colfax, Washington; 2 sisters Gloria and her husband Jeff Peterson of Smelterville, Idaho, and Carroll and her husband Randy Price of Pinehurst, Idaho; 2 brothers John and his wife Louise Bohannon of Montana, and Dave and his wife Nicci Bohannon of Livingston, Montana; and numerous nieces and nephews. Max was preceded in death by his father, his wife, 2 brothers Steven Talley, and Jimmy Talley, one sister Barbara; his stepfather Alfred Bohannon; and his step-brother Phillip Bohannon.
Cremation was held and a Celebraion of Max’s Life will be held at a later date.
