Michael James Kramer Sr., 40, passed away February 10, 2012 at his home in Kingston, Idaho. Michael was born August 31, 1971 in Kellogg, Idaho. Michael was the son of James and Kathy (Stevenson) Kramer. He attended and graduated from Kellogg High School in 1989, he then entered the United States Navy upon his discharge he returned to Idaho’s Silver Valley. His first job was greasing and maintaining trucks for many of the local loggers at about age 14. After returning to the valley after his Navy discharge he worked in the woods; for F & H Mine Supply rebuilding mining equipment; at North West Mine Supply as a mechanic and then later for Buhl Trucking as a chip truck driver. Michael enjoyed target shooting with his sons, riding 4-wheelers, and motorcycles. He was very mechanically inclined and loved working with his hands. He also loved being a grandpa so very much! Michael is survived by his mother Kathy Kramer of Kellogg, Idaho, his sister Connie Kramer, 3 children Mindy and her husband Kris Williams of Kingston, Idaho; Dillon Irvine of Kingston, Idaho, and Michael Kramer Jr. of Kingston, Idaho; three grandsons James, Lukas, and Theodore; grandmother Marjory Stevenson of Kellogg, Idaho; one nephew Derrick Hawkins; numerous aunts and uncles, many cousins. In addition to all those who loved him were his "other parent", Forest Van Dorn and Darlene Curry. Michael was preceded in death by his father, grandfather Floyd Stevenson; grandparents, Clarence and Anna Kramer and one uncle Daniel Stevenson. Cremation was held and a celebration of Michael’s life will be held Saturday February 25th, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Pinehurst-Kingston Lions Club in Pinehurst, Idaho. A small reception to follow at the PK Lions Club to be catered by the Boat in Smelterville by his "Other Mother" |
