Shirley Ann Kellmer, 82

Shirley Ann (Adamson) Kellmer, 82, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2018. She was born on March 8, 1936 to Lee and Annie Adamson in Ravenna, Texas.

She moved to Lakeview, Oregon in 1947 where she graduated from high school. After graduating, she worked in a doctor’s office for 5 years while still maintaining the part-time waitressing job she had since she was 15 years old. She stayed in the hospitality industry for the next 51 years, owning 4 restaurants along the way. She later moved to Wallace, Idaho where she resided for over 30 years; while residing in Wallace, she owned and operated Sweets Café and Kellmer‘s Cafe. In 2002, she retired and moved to Columbus, Montana to be closer to family.

Shirley became baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness on October of 2011 and attended Kingdom Hall in Columbus. She was a member of the church until she passed away. Her love for Jehovah and her love for family and friends were the most important  things in her life.

Shirley loved reading, children and animals, especially dogs. She spent time dog sitting for family and friends and never met a dog she didn’t like. She also enjoyed baking and made many treats for loved ones. She especially enjoyed going out for Sunday lunch and the Friday breakfast meeting with her “Sisters In The Truth.”

Nelson of Billings. Montana. She is preceded in death by her father Lee Adamson, her mother Ann Bogdan, her sister Wanda Graves, and her step-daughter Sandra Kellmer.
