Betty Simmerman, 71, Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend of Kellogg, Idaho passed away at Kootenai Health of Coeur d' Alene on July 14th 2017. She was born on November 15th 1945 in Hot Springs Arkansas. Betty enjoyed listening to Elvis, watching Law and Order, making her family happy, spoiling her grandkids, and most of all spoiling Bobalou.
Betty is survived by her children Carla & Devon Meyers of Pinehurst, Jeremy & Elise Smith of Sandpoint, Bret Clausing of Alaska and Jesse Story Sr. Her grandchildren Sarah Risley, Autumn Bailey, Jesse Story Jr, Alexus Smith, Katie Smith, Rebecca Smith, Christopher Clausing, Meagan Medlin, Joshua Clausing, Jazmine Story, Destiny Story and Cloud Stroup-Pitts along with other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty is proceeded in death by the love of her life, her husband Jimmy Strickland, her sons Robert Clausing and Brian Clausing as well as her grandson Jeremy Smith Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday July 21, 2017 at 11:00A.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel with burial at Greenwood Cemetery.
