Carol Joy Hartman, 58

Carol Joy Hartman, 58, of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away February 10, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born August 14, 1963 in Wyoming.

Carol spent timing living in several states before settling in the Silver Valley, including Washington and Florida. After moving home to the Silver Valley, Carol met the love of her life John Preston and they have spent the past 35 years together.

Carol enjoyed the great outdoors and doing crafts. Carol loved nothing more than spending time with her family and loved ones.

Carol is survived by her husband John; two sons Clinton and Justin Hartman; two grandchildren Jeremiah and Willow; two sisters Kim Smith, Priscilla Pierce and several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her mother Charlotte Smith and her sister Peggy.

Per Carol’s wishes cremation will take place.
