David Arthur Palmer, 75

David Arthur Palmer, aka Butch Palmer, aka Doc 75 of Osburn, Idaho, passed away on August 16, 2017 at the Hospice House in Hayden, Idaho. He was born January 8, 1942 in Green Bay, Wisconsin; David was the son of John and Kathryn (Lyons) Vernon.

David attended and graduated from High School in Cheyenne Wyoming. David then went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After returning home David had many jobs and adventures. His last era of life he was working as a drill Doc in the mines. He worked at various mines over the years. Others called him a tramp miner from Kellogg, Idaho.

He made life long friends where ever he went. Many would call him and he would let them know who was hiring and who to call! He also was a protector of women, he would do anything he could to help them. He also played Santa Clause for the children. If we found out of a child that needed help he would spend his last dime to make sure they would not go with out! He was know to have a good time with friends telling stories over a few beers.

David is survived by his beloved wife Hope; two sisters Evelyn Schamp and Jean Foutz and numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, son David and siblings Frank, Betty, Shirley, Joseph and John.
