Harriet Arlene Amsden, 69
Beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Harriet Arlene Amsden, 69, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away June 4, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Society Silver Wood Village. She was born March 19, 1947 in Butte, Montana; Harriet was the daughter of Arthur and Muriel (Strike) Lambott.
Harriet moved to the Silver Valley with her parents and spent her entire life here.
Harriet worked as a C.N.A. for the Good Samaritan Society for 30 plus years before retiring. Harriet enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially around the holidays. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.
Harriet was united in marriage to Lefty Amsden. Lefty passed away in
Harriet is survived by her mother Muriel Lambott; four children Nancey (Cliff) Arthur of Mullan, Idaho, Tom (Tearsa) Collins of Kalisbell, Montana, Mike (Marie) Collins of Ceour d’Alene, Idaho and Scott (Shelly) Collins of Gig Harbor, Washington; brother Walt (Wendy) Lambott and sister-in-law Lori Lambott. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Harriet was preceded in death by her father Arthur, husband Lefty, brother John and nephew Tracy.
Cremation will be held and private family services will be held at a later date.
