Jeanne C. Payne, 59

Jeanne C. Payne, 59, of Lewiston, Idaho (formerly of the Silver Valley) passed away July 31, 2022 at Prestige Care & Rehabilitation- The Orchards of Lewiston.  She was born August 20, 1962 in Kellogg, Idaho; Jeanne was the daughter of George and Esther (Norris) Stancik.

Jeanne had lived in the Silver Valley for most of her life.  She attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School.  Jeanne married Jim Payne.

Jeanne had served in housekeeping and had worked at the Silver Horn Motor Inn of Kellogg and also in private housekeeping.

Jeanne loved and enjoyed her family and friends, reading, gardening, drinking coffee and visiting and was a great cook.

Jeanne is survived by two sons Ryan Payne (Brenna) of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Shane Stancik of California; six grandchildren; her husband Jim Payne of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; one sister Mary Brewer of Post Falls, Idaho; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Private Family Services will be held.

Jeanne was a phenomenal lady.  She was constantly jovial, fun-loving, peaceful and so full of joy.  Jeanne was always wisecracking and kidding around.  We love her so much and will miss her greatly; she will never be forgotten.
