Karen Marie Frisbie

Karen Marie (Erickson) Frisbie, 82, of Kellogg, ID, passed away on August 26, 2024 at Mountain Valley of Cascadia Health and Rehabilitation, Kellogg. Karen was born on November 28, 1941 in Coeur d’Alene, ID, a daughter of the late Alfred Erickson, Sr. and Leona (Spahn) Erickson.

She graduated from Kellogg High School and married Arthur Leon Frisbie in June 1960.

Karen enjoyed making quilts, playing bingo, fishing, and loved to travel, especially to national parks.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Arthur, Karen is preceded in death by her son, Vince; daughter, Karen Lynn; grandson, Sawyer; brothers, Frank and Ziggy; and a sister, Gail.

Karen is survived by her two sons, Arthur (Ernie) Frisbie of Riverside, WA, and Patrick (Kaye) Frisbie of Dallesport, WA ; her daughter, Kathy (Jay) North of Wardner, ID; a brother, Alfred Jr. (Dorothy) Erickson of Pinehurst, ID; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; as well as step-sisters and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 3:00 PM, at the Kellogg Elks. A potluck will follow, please bring your favorite dish.
