Martin Stark
February 25, 1942 — September 3, 2017
Martin Harold Stark, 75 of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away on September 3, 2017 at Silverwood Good Samaritan Village in Silverton. He was born February 25, 1942 in Long Beach, California; Martin was the son of Martin F. and Beulla May (Miller) Stark.
Martin grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho and graduated from Sandpoint High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Martin was a miner for his entire career and retired from The Sunshine Mine.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Tyler in 1977 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Martin enjoyed tying flies, taking drives to everywhere and nowhere, carpentry and collecting baseball cards.
He is survived by his children Mike (Leslie) Reed of Kellogg, Crystal Stark of Coeur d‘ Alene, Christina (Clinton) Sharp of Pinehurst, Twila (Eric) Isaacson of Post Falls, Cheryl Peterson of Washington and Terri Hoskins of Washington. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his son James Reed.
Services will be held at a later date.
