Marvin Neuberger

October 31, 1948 — May 25, 2018

Marvin Dale Neuberger, 69

Beloved father and grandfather, Marvin Dale Neuberger, 69, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away at his home on May 25th, 2018. He was born October 31, 1948 in Bismark, North Dakota. He was the only child of Benjamin and Emilia (Reinhart) Neuberger.

Mining brought Marvin and his family from North Dakota and into the Silver Valley when he was just 3 years old. He attended and graduated from Wallace High School, class of 1967. Marvin then served in the United States Army and fought in Vietnam. During his service, he married Susan Roe and had two wonderful sons, Dale and Keith.

Upon his return from the military, Marvin found work at the Hecla Mining Company for 8 years as a warehouse manager. He then worked for Stovern Supply in Wallace, Idaho for over 30 years.

Marvin considered the Silver Valley his home and was a proud member of the Osburn VFW #1675, the Wallace Elks #331, as well as the Wallace Eagles since the early 1970’s. When he wasn’t involved in organizations, he spent his free time watching NASCAR. Marvin was a massive NASCAR fan and loved muscles cars. He bought a 2013 Chevrolet Camero which was his dream car. It was said that if he went to the store, he would return to his home and wash and wax his car immediately. Marvin loved his Camero and spent a lot of his time taking special care of it.

Marvin is survived by his two sons Keith Neuberger of Hayden, Idaho and Dale Neuberger of  San Antonio, Texas; and his two granddaughters, Ashley Neuberger and Jasmyne Neuberger. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Emilia.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Silver Valley Veteran’s Memorial, P.O. Box 428, Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
