Mary “Janie” Bravo (Sharp), 73

Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Mary “Janie“ Bravo, 73, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away June 23, 2017 at the family home of Kellogg. She was born March 9, 1944 in Miami, Oklahoma; Janie was the daughter of Gilbert and Oma (Davis) Sharp.

Janie moved to the Silver Valley with her family in 1952 from Oklahoma. Janie attended and graduated from Kellogg High School in 1962. Janie worked for the Bunker Mine and for Terra Graphics before retiring.

Janie married Darrel Bravo on February 14, 1980 in Wallace, Idaho.

To Janie family was the most important and she loved spending time with them. Janie also enjoyed doing water aerobics at the Mullan pool and making trips to the casino to play slots.

Janie is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years Darrel Bravo; eight children Ron Hartley, Darrel Jr. (Jessica) Bravo, Terry (Shannon) Bravo, Kerry (Dawn) Bravo, Todd (Lisa) Bravo, Scott (Denise) Bravo, Johnny (Debbie) Bravo and Oma (Donie) Baldwin; her brother Walter “Sonny” (Jo) Sharp and two sister-in-laws Penny Sharp and Rose Sharp. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Clinton “Goldie” Sharp and Wayne Sharp.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday July 2, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Penny Sharp’s house, 46 Park Circle, Kellogg, Idaho.
