Melissa Connors

Melissa Ann (Rupp) Connors, 32, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away October 13, 2013 at Kellogg, Idaho. She was born October 26, 1980 at Silverton, Idaho; Melissa is the daughter of Jack and Carolyn (Curl) Rupp.

Melissa attended and graduated from the Wallace High School of Wallace. She then attended the Idaho State University and North Idaho College. Melissa was a life-long resident of the Silver Valley.

Melissa married her high school sweetheart Derek Connors in February of 2005; Derek passed away in December of 2007.

Melissa was a stay at home Mom. She loved and enjoyed being with her beloved son Talan, ATVing, fishing, hiking and being in the outdoors.

Melissa is survived by her parents Jack and Carolyn Rupp of Osburn; her son Talan Connors of Osburn; three sisters Dione (Mike) Bailey of Osburn, Mona Rupp of Kellogg and Jennifer Red of Pinehurst; her maternal grandmother Evelyn Curl of Garden City, Kansas; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Melissa was preceded in death by her husband Derek, her paternal grandparents Ed and Louise Rupp and her maternal grandfather Ralph “Snooks” Curl.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Wallace with Father Tom Loucks serving as celebrant.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Shoshone County Crisis Resource Center, 415 Seventh Street, Wallace, Idaho 83873, or to the charity of the Donor’s choice.

Melissa will be loved and missed by all.
