Nick Rounds 36, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away June 2, 2014 at the Sunshine Mine, Big Creek, Idaho. He was born October 18, 1977 in Silverton, Idaho. Nick was the son of Phil Rounds and Kathy Serrano.

Nick was a lifelong resident of Wallace and had attended Wallace High School.

Nick was a miner and had worked at several of the mines in the Silver Valley.

Nick was a member of the Lookout Mountain Skyriders, Central Mine Rescue and the Bitteroot Archers Club.

Nick enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, hunting, tinkering and anything that involved the use of Duct tape.

Nick is survived by his parents; Phil (Judy) Rounds, of Mullan, Idaho and Kathy (Rey) Serrano, of Clarkston, Washington; his fiance, Shasta Orsburn, of Osburn, Idaho; a son Dilon Rounds, of Osburn, a step-daughter Addison Trisler, of Osburn; his sister Melissa Rounds, of Clarkston, Washington; a step brother Chris (Laurie) Richardson, Osburn; a step sister Liane Richardson and her son Kody, of Smelterville, Idaho. He is also survived by his Grandparents John and Vi Primmer, of Hauser Lake, Idaho; an uncle Dave Rounds, Wallace, Idaho; an aunt Sandy (Rob) Bradbury, Post Falls, Idaho; a nephew Haiden Rounds, Clarkston, Washington. Nick is also survived by his dear friend and brother-in-life Chris (Jami) Carlson, of Osburn, Idaho. Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents Noel and Betty Brown and grandfather Fred Rounds.

A Celebration Of Life for Nick will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 3:00 PM, at the Wallace High School gymnasium, with Pastor Carey Schram officiating. Following the service, a potluck reception will be held at the Wallace Elks Club.

The family suggests that donations may be made in Nick’s name. A private fund has been set up at U.S. Bank.
