Patsy Lawrence Lyle Snowder, 73, of Pinehurst, Idaho passed away September 7, 2014 at the Hospice House of North Idaho. She was born in Thermopolis, Wyoming; Patsy was the daughter of Jess and Ruth (Lucas) Lawrence.
Patsy attended and graduated from Colville High School of Colville, Washington in 1960.
On August 30, 1960, Patsy was united in marriage to George B. Lyle in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. George passed away on April 14, 1998. Patsy later married Ernest “Ernie” Snowder on September 9, 2001 in Pinehurst, Idaho. Ernie passed away on March 25, 2013.
Patsy moved to the Silver Valley in 1985. She was a homemaker for many years raising three sons. Patsy enjoyed spending her free time gardening, crocheting, reading and studying the bible.
Patsy loved to serve her Lord and was a member of the Silver Valley Church Of The Nazarene, of Kellogg, Idaho.
Patsy is survived by her three sons Ben (Shirley) Lyle of Hobbs, New Mexico, George (Barbara) Lyle of Pocatello, Idaho and Donald (Tomi) Lyle of Osburn, Idaho; Seven step children, Ernest Snowder of Spokane, Washington, Bradley Snowder of Bellingham, Washington, Larry Snowder of Portland, Oregon, Jon Snowder of Wapato, Washington, Starlet Gartman of Yakima, Washington, Dawn Versoi of Big Fork, Montana and Robin Shipp of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters Wilma Snyder of Carthage, Illions, Marge Slack, of Thermpolis, Wyoming and her brother Lucky Lawrence of Wallace, Idaho. Patsy is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Patsy was proceeded in death by her parents, two husbands, and her brother Jess Lawrence.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 13th at 3:00 P.M. at the Silver Valley Church Of The Nazarene, Kellogg, Idaho, with Pastor Victor Hunt Officiating. A private burial will take place at the Rosalia Cemetery in Washington.
