Ricky Dale McCorkle, 57, of Pinehurst, Idaho passed away October 17, 2017 at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg. He was born on June 15, 1960 in Wallace, Idaho; Ricky was the son of Samuel and Joyce (Hills) McCorkle.

Ricky grew up in the Silver Valley and lived most of his life in Pinehurst. He also spent time living in Rathdrum and Smelterville.

Ricky worked as a driller for Environmental West out of Spokane. He was a member of the Comancheros car club and Shriner’s rides. Ricky was a very friendly and generous man; he participated in a Secret Santa program providing Christmas gifts for needed families in the Silver Valley.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, ATV/UTV riding, boating, camping, and being outdoors with his significant other of fifteen years, Mandy Keller.

Ricky is survived by his children Richard (Aimee) McCorkle of Athol, Kayla McCorkle of Yelm, Washington, Alicia (Patrick) Huttinga of Yelm, and Shane (Amy) Wright of Ridgefield, Washington; his significant other Mandy of Pinehurst; his nephew David McCorkle of Kellogg; his siblings Raymond Pettit of Panama, Oklahoma, LaRayne (David) Duthie of Cataldo, Terry Pettit of Boise, Howard (Cindy) Pettit of Pinehurst, Robert (Lorna) Oberg of Grand Coulee, Washington, Vicki Oberg of Lewiston, William (Terri) McCorkle of Pinehurst, LeAnne (Blair) Schonewald of Smelterville, Shanon (Chris) Figueroa of Ocean City, Maryland, Sammie McCorkle of Knoxville, Tennesee and Laura (Hans) Pederson of South Dakota. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Iona Hahn and David McCorkle.

A Celebration of Ricky’s life will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Silver Valley Worship Center in Smelterville. A potluck reception will follow services at the Sunshine Inn.
