Scott Erik Thorpe, 41

Scott Erik Thorpe, 41, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away May 30, 2018 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho. He was born May 22, 1977 in Fontana, California; Scott was the son of Richard and Sandra (Crutcher) Thorpe.

Scott attended and graduated from Cheyenne High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Scott worked various jobs over the years including construction, crane operations and auto mechanic.

On February 12th 2016, Scott was united in marriage to Marna Bandy in Las Vegas. They later moved to the Silver Valley in July of 2017.

In his free time Scott loved being in the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed listening to music, working on cars and playing with his dog Evo. Scott had a wonderful sense of humor and always could find a way to make Marna smile. Scott was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Kellogg.

Scott is survived by his wife Marna; six children Isabella Thorpe, Jacquelyn Parker, Scotty Thorpe, Faith Freeman, Ashley Parker and Scott Fortin; two grandchildren Jeffrey Freeman and Gray Thorpe; his mother Sandra Thorpe and father-in-law Bill Bandy. He is also survived by four siblings Deanna Wallace, Dawn Henderson, Scott Balderrama, Jamie Thorpe and numerous nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his father Richard, mother-in-law Diane Bandy and his uncle Bruce Thorpe.

A celebration of life with be held at a later date.
