Victoria Rene “Vicki” Gilman, 70, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home on August 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Vicki was born on September 1, 1955, in Spokane, Washington, and was raised in Wardner, Idaho. Over the years, she and her husband, Glen, made homes in Washington and California as well, before eventually returning to the place where Vicki’s roots ran deepest—Shoshone County, Idaho.

Vicki shared 51 years of marriage, with her husband, Glen and was a devoted wife. She was a loving mother to their only son, Dustin.

Vicki had a deep love for animals and found happiness in the simple, creative things in life. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, and cooking, and was extremely hardworking, often putting her talents to use for the people she loved.

Those who knew Vicki will remember her most for her kindness. She had a warm, friendly spirit and seemed to make friends everywhere she went. People were naturally drawn to her joyfulness, and it was difficult to know Vicki without loving her. She cared deeply about others and was always willing to help whenever she could. She truly showed love to people.

Vicki was generous not only with what she had, but with who she was. She freely gave her time, her talents, and her treasures to those in need. Whether through a helping hand, a thoughtful gesture, or simply being there for someone, she found joy in giving to others. Compassion was not something she simply spoke about; she lived it out every day of her life.

Above all, Vicki’s faith in Jesus Christ was at the center of her life. Her love for Him was reflected in the time she spent with Him and in the way she treated His people. She sought to live out the example of Christ through kindness, generosity, compassion, and love for others. Her faith gave her strength, guided her life, and was woven into everything she was and everything she did. She loved Christ with all her heart, and she looked forward to the day when she would be with Him forever.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Donald Joseph Mousseau and Fontella Grant, as well as a sister, Florence Hattery and brother, Donnie Mousseau. She is survived by her husband, Glen Gilman; her son, Dustin Gilman; and her older brother, Doug Mousseau.

Vicki leaves behind more than memories; she leaves behind the example of a life lived with an open heart—a life marked by kindness, generosity, faith, and love. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Memorial services are scheduled for 11 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Real Life Ministries, 708 North Division Street, in Pinehurst, ID. Some food will be provided but please bring food or beverage for potluck. Check for any updates on service arrangements are finalized.
