William Clayton Erickson passed away on September 26, 2026, in Mullan, Idaho. He was born on June 11, 1959, in Wallace, Idaho.

He was a miner and held various other positions in the mining industry.

William will be remembered as a man who loved working with his hands and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, motorcycles, panning for gold, and making jewelry. He was also a mechanic and a true outdoorsman. These interests reflected his practical nature, his independent spirit, and the pleasure he found in the world around him.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Julie Erickson, and his son, Travis Erickson. He is also survived by his brothers, Owen Erickson and his wife, Lavada, of Salem, Missouri; Lawrence Erickson and his wife, Corrie, of Trout Creek, Montana; and Eugene Erickson of Pinehurst, Idaho. He also leaves behind nephews and nieces, and his Beagle, Louie, to cherish his loving memory.

William was preceded in death by his father, William Erickson, and his mother, Lois Erickson.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. His memory will live on in the lives he touched and in the many things he loved to do.
