Charlie has been my Uncle for 64 and  1/2 years. He has also been my friend!! Gerry, you have been my friend since before you and Charlie got together!! I am going to miss my uncle for the rest of my life! I know he and my sweet husband are celebrating being together! For that I am very happy! Charlie now gets to be with so many of the people he has loved and lost!!we will just have to learn to live without him! My heart hurts for his wife and kids also the grandkids!! I love you all! My heart is very sad!! Too many memories!!  Here is one to show how very ornery Charlie was... he was about 17 at the time. There was a Tarzan swing hanging up on the hill. Charlie got ready to swing on it but realized that it was  just hanging by a few strings. When you swung out from where it hung, you swung over a cliff. There was a very deep drop.  When he saw what bad shape the rope was in, of course he changed his mind about swinging!
Then along came Gary Hopper!!! Poor Gary!! Charlie told me and Randy to keep quiet. Gary was getting ready to swing off when I panicked!!  Oh did I get into trouble for warning Gary but I could only imagine him lying dead or very badly hurt, lying on the bottom of that cliff!   He had a laugh like no other!! Oh Charlie , you were so ornery!! He has sent me pictures of the Huckleberry pies he has made!! They looked so delicious!! He was an amazing man!! I love you Charlie Curl!! You will be greatly missed!! Forever and ever!!
