Delpha Louise Pennington, 85

Delpha Louise Pennington, 85, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away November 17, 2021 at her home of Pinehurst, Idaho.  She was born May 21, 1936 in Pocatello, Idaho; Delpha was the daughter of David and Jessie (Gould) Williams.

Delpha married Glen Wheeler in her late teens. Together they had four children and later divorced. She later married Wayne Pennington and together had two children and later divorced.

Delpha worked at the Bunker Hill smelter and zinc plants for many years. She later worked as a CNA for several years until her retirement. In her free time Delpha enjoyed reading and crocheting. Delpha loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them participate any many of their extracurricular activities. 

Delpha is survived by her children Susan (Ken) Zeitz of Pinehurst, Margie Kern of Sandpoint, Patti Kromer of Kingston, Pam (Darrel) Simms of Post Falks, Cheryl Shelley of Bayview, Tammie (Vern) Moore of St. Maries and Terry (Heidi) Pennington of Smelterville; siblings Linda Vining, Earl Williams, Allen Williams, Boyd Williams, Sandra Cole and her sister-in-law Ellen Guyman. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   Delpha was preceded in death by her parents; three children Dale, Penny and Wayne Jr. and her siblings Donna, Lynn, Verna, Dan, Jackie and Barbara. 

Per Delpha’s wishes cremation will take place and private family service will be held at a later date.
