Obituary
Guadalupe “Lupe” P. Montes, 89, of Pinehurst, ID, passed away on January 13, 2023 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Lupe was born on December 12, 1933 in Alamo, TX, a son of the late Jesus and Concepcion (Prado) Montes.
Lupe is preceded in death by his wife, Gavina (Marques) Montes, who passed away in 2014; and a son, Rick Montes, who passed away in 2017; a brother, Florentino Montez; and a sister, Josefa Baez.
Survivors include his three daughters, Hope Montes and Nettie Montes, both of Pinehurst, ID, and Josie (Ken) Keller of Oregon; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Keller.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, 11:00 AM at Shoshone Funeral Services, 106 S. Main St., Kellogg, ID with Father Jerome Montez officiating.
