James "Jim" Richardson

James “Jim” “Little Richie” A. Richardson, 71

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, James “Jim” “Little Richie” A. Richardson, 71, of Kingston, Idaho, passed away August 12, 2022 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  He was born November 8, 1950 in Wallace, Idaho; Jim was the son of Clifford and Joana (Schultz) Richardson.

Jim has lived in the Silver Valley all of his life.  He attended schools in Wallace and graduated from the Kellogg High School.  Jim then furthered his education with vocational training at the North Idaho College of Coeur d’ Alene.

Jim was united in marriage to Sharon “Sherrie” Field on November 20, 1971 at the American Lutheran Church of Kellogg.

Jim had worked as a miner for the Hecla Mining Company for thirty years.  He then served as a bus driver for the Kellogg School District for thirty plus years.  During the Summers, Jim drove bus for the Hiawatha Bike Trail.

Jim was a member of the Real Life Ministries of Pinehurst and a member of Med Corp.

Jim loved and enjoyed his family, and the great outdoors- fishing, hunting, camping, gardening and berry picking; he also loved all animals.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Sharon “Sherrie” Richardson of the family home of Kingston; three daughters Sharalynn Richardson of Rathdrum, Idaho, Hilary Merrill (Casey) of Hayden, Idaho, and Jamie Shorey (Craig) of Pinehurst, Idaho; five grandchildren Andralyn, Grace, Faith, Joy and Liam; one sister Leona Anderson of Osburn, Idaho; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Real Life Ministries of Pinehurst; a reception/luncheon will be held at the church following services; this will be potluck and everyone is welcome.
