Rosie May Frazier, 80

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Rosie May Frazier, 80, of Kingston, Idaho, peacefully passed away at her home, surrounded by her loved ones on July 5, 2019. She was born June 28, 1939 in Mena, Arkansas; the daughter of John and Mary Vaughn.

Rosie moved to the Silver Valley at the age of 5 from Arkansas. It was in the Silver Valley where she found her forever home.

Rosie married the love of her life, Edward on August 30, 1956, they had four wonderful children together: Deb, Sharon, Rod, and Connie. Edward passed away on September 5, 2009.

Rosie’s occupation of love was as a homemaker and wife. She dedicated her life to raising her children and creating a happy and loving home for all.

Rosie enjoyed spending time outside with her family, as well as camping and gardening. Rosie also enjoyed hunting for elk and deer and fishing with her husband. She was known for being quite the cook, especially of wild game. Rosie was also known for her beautiful Dahlia flowers, which she took great pride in.

Rosie is survived by her four wonderful children: Deb (Larry) Orton of Jefferson, Oregon, Sharon (Chuck) Goldsby of Mountain Home, Idaho, Rod (Deena) Frazier of Cataldo, Idaho, and Connie (Rick) Holmquist of Silverton, Idaho; three sisters, Mary Robinson, Fay Aldrich, and Norma Pollitt; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary; her brother, Leonard Vaughn; and her beloved husband, Edward.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to Hospice of North Idaho: 2290 W. Prairie Avenue, Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho 83815.
