Violet May Milliron, 70

Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Violet May Milliron,70, of Kellogg, Idaho passed away on April 18, 2019 at Kootenai Medical Center of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born October 2, 1948; the daughter of Herbert and Clara (England) Randel.

Violet had been a resident of the Silver Valley for over 30 years.

Violet spent 14 wonderful years with her beloved partner, Benny Ford, until the time of his passing in 1994.

Violet worked for the Shoshone News Press as an advertising sales associate for over 20 years. Prior to the News Press, she worked for other various newspapers and magazines in ad sales. She also previously worked as a bartender.

Violet’s favorite pastime was spending quality time with her six wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchild. She often volunteered her time helping with Bingo and wrapping presents for other residents at Mountain Valley of Cascadia. She was very adamant about helping others. She had a love for all things Harley Davidson and Native American artwork. She enjoyed traveling, she was known for being vibrant and always going.

Violet is survived by her sons, John (Joleen) Milliron and Waylon Ford, both of Pinehurst, Idaho; her daughter, Dolly Ann Wright of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; her six wonderful grandchildren: O’Shay, Patrick, Alyssa, Carlee, Robert, and Annabelle; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Clara; as well as her beloved partner, Benny.
