Donna Derbyshire, 79, of Salem, Oregon (formerly of the Silver Valley), passed away September 4, 2011 in Salem, Oregon. She was born February 20, 1932 at Hollywood, California; Donna was the daughter of Harold and Myrtle Lindley.
Donna married Robert Derbyshire on September 17, 1949 at Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; Robert preceded her in death in 1992.
Donna was a resident of the Silver Valley for sixty years; she had moved to Salem to live with a daughter.
Donna was a homemaker and a mother. She was a member of the Birthday Club and a member of the Womens’ Bowling League. Donna loved and enjoyed her family, bingo, gambling at casinos and camping.
Donna is survived by five children Linda Big Spring of Post Falls, Idaho, Bonnie Van Zandt of Salem, Oregon, Debbie Pond of Kellogg, Idaho, Richard Derbyshire of Wallace, Idaho and Betty Bailey of Pinehurst, Idaho; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; she is also survived by one sister Betty Carlson of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
Memorial services will be held at the West Shoshone Park of Pinehurst, Idaho on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 at 2:00 P.M.; everyone is welcome.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Shoshone Funeral Services, Kellogg, Idaho.
