Dear Evonne and family, I was a classmate of Pauls from the fourth grade to graduation. Ruth has been passing on the updates on Paul's health for several months now. I assumed that you were getting our comments and then Ruthie informed us that you were not on the Class of 66 Facebook page. I was sad to hear of his illness and struggles these past many months. It must have been a very trying time for you and all your family. I send my love and best wishes to each of you. I moved away from Kellogg right after graduation. I enjoyed my childhood and growing up in Kellogg and my friends were a big part of my memories of growing up there. Paul was so much fun. Always had a smile on his face. He was funny and kind and I just remember him as being great company. I think that when we experience birth and death the veil between Heaven and Earth is very thin. How great is the joy of those family members that have gone on ahead and stand with open arms to welcome each one of us! Home again. May Heavenly Father wrap his arms around you. May you feel His love and comfort at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Paul was a wonderful human being and he will be missed. Sincerely, -- Barbara Johnson, Springville, Utah
